At First Corinthian Homecare, we pride ourselves in maintaining a core team of caregivers known for their professionalism, experience, enthusiasm, and compassion for doing what they love to do – caring for people. Our goal is to ensure that our clients receive the right care they need and on their schedules within the comfort and independence of their cherished homes.

Our caregivers include Companion aides, State Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, and Licensed Practical Nurses. In addition, we have several aides trained in specialized care areas. All of our caregivers are supervised and monitored by our staff of Georgia Licensed Registered Nurses. Our caregivers are trained to respect the values, rights, dignity, and confidentiality of our clients at all times.

Every one of our care staff undergoes a thorough screening process before hiring. They are employees and not independent contractors. We conduct background checks, verify references, and ensure candidates have the experience, human spirit, and compassion to service the needs of our clients and maximize care outcomes. Additionally, we require drug testing and physical exams, which include testing for any communicable disease (such as TB). We conduct regular training programs aimed at keeping our caregivers up to date on the latest practices and skills for providing exceptional in-home care.

  • Screening: Must pass a background criminal check, drug test, reference verification, and competency assessment before being hired.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of one-year caregiver experience.
  • Supervision: Regular and unscheduled visits by our Registered Nurses to evaluate caregiver progress, and to also ensure caregivers are exceeding expectations.
  • Training: Provided with regular training and industry updates.
